The brief for this project was clear — the customer wanted a beautiful kitchen with a practical, well-designed island at its heart. To achieve this, we carried out significant structural and technical work, starting with the removal of two walls and the installation of RSJs to create a bright, open-plan layout. The existing doorway was blocked up to improve the flow of the space, while a complete re-wire and new ceiling installation ensured the kitchen met modern standards. We also excavated the floor to install underfloor heating, adding comfort as well as efficiency.
The new layout not only provides a spacious, functional island for cooking and entertaining but also brings a sense of openness and light to the entire room. Every stage of the project was carefully planned, resulting in a space that combines style, practicality, and modern living — and most importantly, a very happy customer.
